Listya

Community rules

Listya is for lists, and a lot of lists are shared. These rules are about what other people can see — posted lists, messages, the name others see, circle names and shared lists. Your private lists are yours and are never read.

1. Nothing hateful

No slurs, and nothing attacking people for their race, religion, nationality, sex, sexuality, gender identity or disability.

2. No threats or bullying

No threats of violence, no harassment, and nothing meant to frighten or humiliate someone.

3. Nothing that encourages self-harm

Nothing that tells anyone to hurt themselves or end their life. If you are struggling, speak to someone - in the UK, Samaritans are on 116 123, any time.

4. No sexual content

Listya is for lists. Nothing explicit, and never anything sexual involving children.

5. No terrorism or violent extremism

Nothing that supports, plans or glorifies terrorism or attacks on people.

6. Nothing illegal for sale

No selling or buying drugs, weapons or stolen goods.

7. No scams

Never ask anyone for passwords, PINs or bank details, and no fake documents.

8. No cruelty to animals

Nothing that encourages hurting animals.

What happens

Those things are checked automatically as they are sent. If something breaks a rule it isn't sent, and you'll see a note saying so. After three tries we email you these rules and let the Listya team know — nobody else is told, and what you wrote is not kept. Repeated attempts can lead to an account being closed.

If you see something

In the app, report a posted list with "Report this list" under it, and a conversation with "Report" at the top of it. You can block anyone who messages you, from the conversation or from People you know — they aren't told, and Me → Blocked people undoes it. A person at Listya reads every report.

Anything else, or something that needs a person now: info@listya.ai. If someone is in danger, call 999.
